At California Health & Fitness, your safety is our priority. We ensure that all staff members on site are trained in advanced first aid, including the use of a defibrillator. This training will be undertaken on a yearly basis to keep up with relevant information and procedures.

All equipment within the facility will be maintained and serviced to a high standard and will be checked daily by a member of staff for any malfunctions or disrepair.

Every client entering the facility will undergo a mandatory induction process, whereby they will have thorough instructions on how to operate all pieces of kit.

Each Client will also undergo a full health screening upon signing up, including a Blood pressure check, Cardio fitness test and a PAR-Q (Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire).

In the event of an emergency, a member of staff will alert the relevant emergency services whilst making the area safe and administering first aid where necessary.

In the event of a fire, members of staff will evacuate the whole building to the front main car park fire assembly point and with the aid of our QR check in system, will account for all persons within the facility.
